For some of us, this quarantine has been a nice way to relax, regroup, and refocus. For others, especially those who had an unexpected ending to their season, this lockdown has been stifling, frustrating, and flat out hard. We know that this extended time away from the pool is hard for most swimmers because it's hard for us too. It's not just hard like "we really miss the pool." It's hard because it can feel like we're a little lost, like we don't have as much purpose, and like we're living the same day over and over again. That's why we put together 10 ways for swimmers to stay in shape while stuck at home

Now, it's important to recognize that our 10 tips are about you as a whole person, not just an athlete. So, not every tip is a way to stay physically in shape. We made sure to include several ways how you can stay mentally, emotionally, and psychologically in shape as well.

Just remember to be kind to yourself, take care of yourself, and do something good for your mind and body every single day.
