Swimming World Magazine recently named Madison Aquatic Club (MAC) and Verona Area/Mount Hebron High School swimmer Beata Nelson the Female High School Swimmer of the Year! Beata had an incredible year of racing including 12 Wisconsin state titles, a Wisconsin state record in the 100-fly (51.62), a NISCA national championship in the 100-fly (51.62 — fastest time in the country this year), and five events at the 2016 US Olympic Trials! Next year, Beata will be attending and swimming for the University of Wisconsin-Madison!
