The 3D Soft Dome Cap offers superior comfort and easier application with its flexible, premium silicone, providing a snug, second-skin feel with less squeeze than traditional hard molded caps, while still delivering excellent hydrodynamic smoothness for racing; the standard "dome cap" is also molded for minimal drag but is often firmer, potentially offering a tighter, helmet-like fit but less comfort than the newer "3D Soft" version, which balances race performance with enhanced wearability. In our experience, the 3D Soft Dome remains in its position on the head far better than the traditional dome.
